Havana Jam is Perth’s casual mid-week Salsa night out which truly captures the spirit of Cuba; tropical weather, warm people, and its great richness in music, amongst the many genres Havana Jam offers Salsa, Guaguanco, Son, Cha Cha, Trova, Charanga, Rumba and many of the modern genres currently emerging today such as Timba, Timbaton, and Habanera.

Havana Jam is the closest you will get to get to the beautiful island of Cuba without having to jump onto a plane to the Caribbean. The live percussionists & resident DJ’s Surge & Nano will definitely treat you to an extensive repertoire of Authentic Cuban style salsa from the classics to the newest releases of Cuban music currently being released in Cuba and those Cuban artists producing music all over the world.

Havana Jam also promises a little dose of those genres outside of the Cuban music category such as “Bachata” & “Merengue” (Dominic Republic), and “Zouk/ Zouk love (originating from Caribbean “Creole” French islands such as Haiti and Dominica), and Brazilian Zouk.

If you don’t know how to dance Salsa not to worry, as a free introductory class will run from 7 P.M so you will have all the necessary moves to party the night away from in Cuban style.
